Daiyame Imo Shochu is a premium Japanese sweet potato (imo) shochu crafted by Hamada Shuzo in Kagoshima Prefecture. Introduced to commemorate the distillery's 150th anniversary, it is produced using a proprietary ageing method called "Koujuku" to develop a rich aroma. This technique imparts a distinctive lychee-like fragrance, setting it apart from traditional imo shochus. The result is a spirit with a sweet, mellow taste and a crisp finish, designed to complement a variety of dishes.
