Kirin Hyoketsu Mutō Green Apple (350ml, 7% ABV) is a limited-edition Japanese chu-hai that combines vodka, soda, and frozen natural green apple juice made using Kirin’s signature Hyōten Toketsu freezing method. The “Mutō” in its name means “no sugar,” and true to this, it contains 0g of sugar and no added sweeteners. The drink delivers a crisp, clean flavour with a natural green apple aroma, balancing fruity freshness with a dry, sharp finish. With only 0.7% fruit juice and about 147kcal per can, it’s crafted to be light and refreshing while still offering a satisfying alcohol kick. Released nationwide in Japan in March 2025, it’s designed to pair well with food and appeal to those who enjoy a drier style of chu-hai.
