Yanghe Daqu is a celebrated baijiu produced by the Yanghe Distillery, located in Suqian, Jiangsu Province, China. The distillery boasts a history of over 1,300 years, making it one of Chinas oldest and most respected producers of baijiu.

Production Process
Yanghe Daqu is crafted using high-quality sorghum as the base ingredient, with wheat, barley, and peas serving as high-temperature fermenting agents. This meticulous process contributes to its unique flavour profile. 

Historical Significance
First produced during the Sui and Tang dynasties, Yanghe Daqu flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties and was presented as tribute to Qing royals. In 1979, it was recognised as one of Chinas top-eight famous spirits and has been named a national-level liquor three times.
