[Beer] KIRIN Hon Kirin 350ml

Hon-Kirin is a bold, full-bodied new genre beer (新ジャンル) created by Kirin Brewery Company to offer a premium beer-like experience at an accessible price point. Launched in 2018.

Although technically not classified as beer under Japanese liquor law (due to its use of non-malt ingredients), Hon-Kirin is brewed with the same level of care and complexity. It features German Hersbrucker hops, renowned for their clean bitterness and floral aroma, and undergoes a long, low-temperature fermentation that deepens the flavour and smoothens the finish.

The result is a drink that surprises many with its depth, richness, and satisfying mouthfeel—standing out among other new-genre offerings for its malt-forward taste, refined bitterness, and silky body.
