Gamuchi Soju 25% is a premium distilled soju crafted by Danong Bio in Chungju, South Korea. Made from high-quality rice and fermented with traditional nuruk, this soju undergoes a meticulous production process that highlights Korean craftsmanship. The final product delivers a harmonious blend of nutty aromas, creamy sweetness, and a refreshing floral finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Aroma: Upon the first sip, a nutty aroma envelops the palate, reminiscent of enjoying corn puffs. This is followed by a subtle, oily richness that evokes macadamia nuts. After swallowing, a floral sensation brightens the throat, leaving a clean and refreshing finish.

• Palate: The initial nutty flavour transitions into a gentle sweetness, complemented by a creamy texture that enhances the overall smoothness.

• Finish: The soju concludes with a light, floral aftertaste, providing a refreshing and clean finish that lingers pleasantly.

Production Process:

1. Triple Fermentation: The soju begins with a three-step fermentation process to create a base liquor, known as Samyangju.
   
   
2. Distillation: Using an advanced double boiler distillation method, the lees (jigemi) are left unfiltered to prevent scorching during distillation.
   
   
3. Aging: The distilled liquor is aged in traditional earthenware jars (onggi) for six months or longer, allowing the flavours to mature and develop complexity.
   
   
4. Filtration and Bottling: The aged soju is filtered and carefully bottled to preserve its smooth and refined character.
