KSD Makgeolli, produced by Kooksoondang Brewery Co., Ltd., is a traditional Takju-style Korean rice wine known for its smooth, lightly fizzy, and refreshing taste. As a type of Takju (탁주), it retains a milky, off-white appearance and a natural sweet and tangy flavour, created through the fermentation of rice and wheat. The use of nuruk (traditional fermentation starter) gives it a distinct depth, mild effervescence, and probiotic benefits.
Unlike raw makgeolli (Nongju), which is unpasteurised and continues to ferment, KSD Makgeolli is carefully processed to maintain stability and consistency, ensuring a longer shelf life while preserving its authentic character.
