Kamotsuru Daiginjo Gold, also known as Kamotsuru Tokusei Gold Daiginjo, is a famous premium sake from Hiroshima, first released in 1958. It’s known as Japan’s first daiginjo sake made for the public. The rice is polished down to 50%, creating a clean and refined flavour.

This sake boasts a smooth and elegant taste, with subtle hints of fruit and a gentle umami profile. It feels light yet rich, finishing clean and dry. The bottle contains floating gold leaf shaped like cherry blossoms, symbolising celebration and good fortune. With an alcohol content of around 16–17%, it’s best served slightly chilled to enjoy its delicate aroma and smooth texture.
