Shinobu “Shogun” Pure Malt is a Japanese whisky that honours the legendary shoguns of Japan’s feudal era, symbolising leadership, power, and refined mastery. Produced in Niigata Prefecture, a region known for its pure spring waters and crisp climate, this whisky is crafted entirely from malted barley. It is matured for three years in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in rare Mizunara oak, a uniquely Japanese wood that imparts its signature sandalwood, incense, and spice character. The result is a bold yet elegant expression that showcases both strength and subtlety in equal measure.
